- In 1993, a new management company called Osaka Soccer Club Co., Ltd. was established. The name of the new professional team was decided through a public contest, resulting in the selection of "Cerezo Osaka." The word "Cerezo" means "cherry blossom" in Spanish, symbolizing the team's connection to Osaka city, famous for its cherry blossoms.
- Home games are played at Yodoko Sakura Stadium, the closest stadium to the pitch in Japan.
The team has won several domestic cups, including the Emperor's Cup and the J.LEAGUE YBC Levain Cup, and has been consistently competitive in the J1 League.

- Cerezo Osaka Ladies U-15 was founded in 2010. In 2013, it joined the Challenge League and changed its name to Cerezo Osaka Sakai Ladies. In 2015, the team joined the Nadeshiko League, and from the 2023–24 season, it became a member of the professional WE League, where it continues to compete today.
- The team's home stadium is Yodoko Sakura Stadium.
Cerezo Osaka YANMAR Ladies has a track record of producing many famous players who have made a name for themselves both at home and abroad. Honoka Hayashi began her career in Cerezo Osaka's youth team and later played for top international teams, such as West Ham United in the UK. Saori Takarada, another star of Cerezo Osaka, played for Washington Spirit in the US before moving to Leicester City WFC in the UK. Like Hayashi, Takarada was also an integral part of the Japanese national team and has participated in the FIFA Women's World Cup and the Olympics.Recently, Shinomi Koyama went out to play in Sweden(now in the US),who was also part of the Japanese national team. These players, along with others, have contributed to the rise of Cerezo Osaka YANMAR Ladies in Japan and abroad.
Osaka Marvelous WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL

- Home games held at Asue Arena Osaka.
The team has won consecutive championships in the V.LEAGUE in the 2019-20 and 2020-21 seasons. In the 2020-21 season final, they won their second consecutive league title. Currently, the team is led by captain Mizuki Tanaka and vice captain Kotona Hayashi, who was selected as one of the best six last season.
Kubota Spears Osaka VOLLEYBALL

- The team was formed in 1957 as the Kubota Men's Volleyball Club.

- The club was founded in 1993.The team was formerly known as the NTT Docomo RedHurricanes before rebranding in 2023 to emphasize its connection with Osaka, their home city.

Players are sent out as ambassadors to each ward, and the team works to build strong ties with the local community in Osaka city by visiting elementary schools and participating in classes for the elderly.

- Founded in 1936, and its current name, "ORIX Buffaloes" was adopted in December, 2004, after an integration between two teams, the ORIX BlueWave and the Kintetsu Buffaloes.
- Most of the home games are played at the Kyocera Dome Osaka, a large, modern stadium that can hold approximately 36,000 fans.
From 2021 to 2023, the ORIX Buffaloes won the Pacific League title three consecutive years and the Japan Series championship in 2022. The team has produced several notable players who have gone on to play in Major League Baseball (MLB) in the United States, such as ICHIRO, who was elected to Hall of Fame, and, Yoshinobu Yamamoto, who won the World Series in MLB in 2024.

- The team is known for its high-level performances and intense matches, playing their home games at the Asue Arena Osaka.
With a strong focus on teamwork and strategic play, they have remained a dominant force in Japanese volleyball for decades. Recent successes include winning the 2023-24 V.LEAGUE and the 72nd Kurowashiki All-Japan Men's and Women's Volleyball Tournament.
In recent seasons, the team has been strengthened by the addition of international star players like Dmitriy Muserskiy, a towering player known for his exceptional skills as a opposite hitter. His height (2.18 meters) and experience on the international stage bring a significant edge to the Sunbirds' roster.Additionally, Ran Takahashi, one of Japan's rising stars, also plays for the team.
